Here is a fact-based summary of the story contents:
Try something different:

Quite a few Marvel properties are gearing up for big sequel shoots, as well as first times out, and one of the most interesting and, indeed, exciting projects on the horizon is the sequel toPeyton Reed's delightful Ant-Man, now entitledAnt-Man and the Wasp. Reed has already confirmed that he will be returning for the film, as willPaul Rudd andEvangeline Lilly, but the rest of the cast has yet to be set.

One character that fans are specifically interested in knowing the fate of is Dr. Hank Pym, played by the greatMichael Douglas, and during a conversation with Steve earlier today, Douglas confirmed that he has been contacted about returning forAnt-Man and the Wasp. Here's what he had to say about the possibility of coming back for the sequel:

I just got a call recently - they want to negotiate for a sequel and I thought "That’s great!" Hopefully, I won’t have to carry quite as much expositional dialogue as the first one but I had a wonderful time doing it. Just a great, great time. The cast was fantastic. Paul, Evangeline, Michael Pena - I’m sure he’ll be back. If they can scrape Corey Stoll off the wall, I’m sure they’ll want him too - he’s such a good villain. And Peyton too. It was a lovely experience, so you know, I welcome it. I chuckle about being involved with a movie that already has a release date in 2018. Ya know, it’s hard to conceive of that, but it’s all good, all the way around, it’s all good.

It's encouraging to hear Douglas' enthusiasm forAnt-Man, as watching him get scrappy with the likes of Rudd, Pena, and Lilly was one of the great pleasures of Reed's film, which recently had a very promising debut in China. We'll have to wait for confirmation, of course, as he's only been contacted at this point. That being said, the possibility of seeing Douglas return for the sequel toAnt-Man, one of the few Marvel adaptations that doesn't take itself too seriously, is the kind of thing that gets even the most skeptical of super-hero movie fans (read: this writer) excited to pay the ticket price again and sit back down for another spin.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is currently slated to be released on July 6th, 2018.
