TheHoliday Party 2012 was aparty inClub Penguin, it began on the 20th of December 2012, and ended on the 4th of January 2013.Rockhopper along withCoins for Change returned, players could buy items from theHoliday Party 2012 Catalog and becomeRoad Racers,Reindeer Puffles, andFrost Bites. It was confirmed byPolo Field on Twitter.

- TheCool In The Cold music video was released for the party.
- This was the first party with limited timeemoticons, it had the Freezing Emote along with the first animated emoticons which were the Cookie Emote and the Blue Music Notes Emote. Revealed byPolo Field.
- Buyingcookies at theBakery would count as aCoins for Change donation.
- It was the secondHoliday Party to cross over years, the others being theChristmas Party 2006,Holiday Party 2013,Holiday Party 2015 andHoliday Party 2016.
- Ambient sounds added to rooms during the party remained in some rooms after the party.
- Unlike previous Holiday Parties,Santa's Sled could be accessed by all players.
- Additionally,Santa's Sled was moved to theSki Lodge, unlike previous years, where it was located on theNight Club Rooftop.
- Due to this, theLodge Attic was only accessible by teleportation, through use of theEPF Phone.
- Additionally,Santa's Sled was moved to theSki Lodge, unlike previous years, where it was located on theNight Club Rooftop.
- This was the 100th party in Club Penguin.
Glitches[]
- Although the magic cookies only cost 100coins, players needed to have at least 200 coins to purchase any.
- Sometimes,Rockhopper's player card would display his player card from theAdventure Party: Temple of Fruit.
- Sometimes when players transformed into aFrost Bite, they would turnOld Blue.
