With HDD, SSD Standard, and SSD Premium, IONOS Cloud offers a comprehensive portfolio of storage for any application. In addition to the redundantly designed cloud storage, IONOS Cloud Backup also offers additional protection by backing up and restoring your data.
It has never been easier to use SSD storage in the cloud: IONOS Cloud offers two service classes that can be chosen when ordering the volume – both for easy startup and for reliable performance and high IOPS. SSD Premium is optimized for high performance, whereas SSD Standard is recommended for quickly accessing data for all-purpose scenarios and at a price that is very attractive for storage space. HDD volumes provide a static performance profile regardless of the volume size. In comparison, SSD volumes deliver greater performance that increases with volume size and is capped at a certain size.

The IONOS Cloud Volume Snapshot is a virtual snapshot of your data at a certain point in time and allows you to subsequently return to this state.

The IONOS Cloud enables the customer to create what are known as snapshots of individual block storage. You can access (and erase) the created virtual copy of the block storage via DCD and the Cloud API, and new block storage can be created based on a snapshot. The provisioning speed is 50 MB/s.

Outgoing VM traffic to Object Storage in the same data centre location is measured as local traffic;ii.Outgoing VM traffic to Object Storage in the same country, but to a different data centre, is measured as national traffic;iii.
