Overview

Access Transparency provides you with logs that capture the actions Googlepersonnel take when accessing your content.

Cloud Audit Logs show when members of yourorganization access content in your Google Cloud projects. Similarly,Access Transparency provideslogs of the actionstaken by Google personnel.

You canenable Access Transparencyfor a Google Cloud project, if the project resides in an organization.

Limitations of Access Transparency in Vertex AI

All access to your data in Vertex AI by Google personnel is logged,except for the following scenarios:

• Scenarios where Access Transparency logs are excluded in all supportedGoogle Cloud services
• Usingcustom containers to serveonline inferenceorbatch inference requestsfrom custom-trained models
• UsingVertex Explainable AI withcustom containers
• Using AutoML forecasting-related resources such as forecastingdatasets and forecasting models.
• Using the following components:
  • Generative AI on Vertex AI: Online inference (Vision)
  • Vertex AI Vizier
  • Vertex AI RAG Engine
