Update an online store

You can update the online serving configuration for an online store created forBigtable online serving. For example, you can update the maximum and minimumnumbers of serving nodes.

While creating or updating an online store, you have the option to add user-definedmetadata in the form of labels to the online store. For more information about howto update user-defined labels for an online store, seeUpdate labels for an online store.

Before you begin

Authenticate toVertex AI, unless you've done so already.

To use the REST API samples on this page in a local development environment, you use the credentials you provide to the gcloud CLI.

Install the Google Cloud CLI. After installation, initialize the Google Cloud CLI by running the following command:

    gcloudinit

If you're using an external identity provider (IdP), you must first sign in to the gcloud CLI with your federated identity.

For more information, seeAuthenticate for using REST in the Google Cloud authentication documentation.
