You can useCloud Monitoring andCloud Logging with Service Directory.
Monitor
Monitoring lets you create dashboards or set upalerts. You can access it by visitingMonitoring in Google Cloud console. To view basic monitoring metrics (requestcount, size, and latency), go to theMetrics Explorer and filter byresource_type:consumed_api andservice:servicedirectory.googleapis.com.
View logs
Service Directory produces audit logs that you can view throughLogging.
Audit logs
Audit logs can help you answer the questions "Who did what, where, and when?".Service Directory writes two types of audit logs:admin activity anddata access. Admin activity logs are always enabled and apply to thefollowing Service Directory operations:
- CreateNamespace
- UpdateNamespace
- DeleteNamespace
- SetIamPolicy
All other Service Directory operations are considered data access logs and arenot enabled by default. Data access logs are also subject toLogging pricing and quota, whereas neither applies to adminactivity logs. To enable data access logging, seeConfiguring Data Access logs.
To see these logs inLogging, selectService Directory Namespace from theResource drop-down menu andcloudaudit.googleapis.com/activity orcloudaudit.googleapis.com/data_access,as appropriate, from theLogs drop-down.
