NAME
gcloud resource-manager folders update - update the display name of a folder
SYNOPSIS
gcloud resource-manager folders updateFOLDER_ID--display-name=DISPLAY_NAME[GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
Updates the given folder with new folder name.

This command can fail for the following reasons:

  • There is no folder with the given ID.
  • The active account does not have permission to update the given folder.
  • The new display name is taken by another folder under this folder's parent.
EXAMPLES
The following command updates a folder with the ID123456789 tohave the name "Foo Bar and Grill":
gcloudresource-managerfoldersupdate123456789--display-name="Foo Bar and Grill"
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
FOLDER_ID
ID for the folder you want to update.
REQUIRED FLAGS
--display-name=DISPLAY_NAME
New display name for the folder (unique under the same parent).
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands:--access-token-file,--account,--billing-project,--configuration,--flags-file,--flatten,--format,--help,--impersonate-service-account,--log-http,--project,--quiet,--trace-token,--user-output-enabled,--verbosity.
