NAME
gcloud bigtable instances update - modify an existing Bigtable instance
SYNOPSIS
gcloud bigtable instances updateINSTANCE[--display-name=DISPLAY_NAME][GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
Modify an existing Bigtable instance.
EXAMPLES
To update the display name for an instance, run:
gcloudbigtableinstancesupdatemy-instance-id--display-name="Updated Instance Name"
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Instance resource - The instance to update. This represents a Cloud resource.(NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set inother ways.

To set theproject attribute:

  • provide the argumentinstance on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--project on the command line;
  • set the propertycore/project.

This must be specified.

INSTANCE
ID of the instance or fully qualified identifier for the instance.

To set theinstance attribute:

  • provide the argumentinstance on the command line.
FLAGS
--display-name=DISPLAY_NAME
Friendly name of the instance.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands:--access-token-file,--account,--billing-project,--configuration,--flags-file,--flatten,--format,--help,--impersonate-service-account,--log-http,--project,--quiet,--trace-token,--user-output-enabled,--verbosity.
