gcloud beta compute disks add-resource-policiesDISK_NAME--resource-policies=[RESOURCE_POLICY,…][--region=REGION    |--zone=ZONE][GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG …]

gcloud beta compute disks add-resource-policies adds resourcepolicies to a Compute Engine disk. These policies define a schedule for takingsnapshots and a retention period for these snapshots.

DISK_NAME

Name of the disk to add resource policies to.

--resource-policies=[RESOURCE_POLICY,…]

A list of resource policy names to be added to the disk. The policies must existin the same region as the disk.

At most one of these can be specified:

--region=REGION

Region of the disk to add resource policies to. If not specified, you might beprompted to select a region (interactive mode only).

To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set thecompute/region property:

gcloudconfigsetcompute/regionREGION

A list of regions can be fetched by running:

gcloudcomputeregionslist

To unset the property, run:

gcloudconfigunsetcompute/region

Alternatively, the region can be stored in the environment variableCLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_REGION.

--zone=ZONE

Zone of the disk to add resource policies to. If not specified and thecompute/zone property isn't set, you mightbe prompted to select a zone (interactive mode only).

To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set thecompute/zone property:

gcloudconfigsetcompute/zoneZONE

A list of zones can be fetched by running:

gcloudcomputezoneslist

To unset the property, run:

gcloudconfigunsetcompute/zone
