SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha workstations configs set-iam-policy(CONFIG :--cluster=CLUSTER--region=REGION)POLICY_FILE[GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Sets the IAM policy for the given configuration as definedin a JSON or YAML file.
EXAMPLES
The following command will read an IAM policy defined in a JSON file'policy.json' and set it for the given configuration:
gcloudalphaworkstationsconfigsset-iam-policyCONFIGpolicy.json

POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Config resource - The configuration for which to display the IAM policy. Thearguments in this group can be used to specify the attributes of this resource.(NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set inother ways.

To set theproject attribute:

  • provide the argumentconfig on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--project on the command line;
  • set the propertycore/project.

This must be specified.

CONFIG
ID of the config or fully qualified identifier for the config.

To set theconfig attribute:

  • provide the argumentconfig on the command line.

This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in thisgroup are specified.

--cluster=CLUSTER
The name of the cluster containing the config.To set thecluster attribute:
  • provide the argumentconfig on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--cluster on the command line;
  • set the propertyworkstations/cluster.
--region=REGION
The name of the region of the config.To set theregion attribute:
  • provide the argumentconfig on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--region on the command line;
  • set the propertyworkstations/region.
POLICY_FILE
Path to a local JSON or YAML formatted file containing a valid policy.

The output of theget-iam-policy command is a valid file, as is anyJSON or YAML file conforming to the structure of aPolicy.

GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands:--access-token-file,--account,--billing-project,--configuration,--flags-file,--flatten,--format,--help,--impersonate-service-account,--log-http,--project,--quiet,--trace-token,--user-output-enabled,--verbosity.
