This library provides information on the application hosting environment forapps running on Google Cloud Platform. This includes information on the Googlecompute product being used, the current project and credentials, and otherinformation surfaced via environment variables, the file system, and theMetadata Server.
Supported Ruby Versions
This library is supported on Ruby 3.0+.
In general, Google provides official support for CRuby versions that areactively supported by the Ruby Core team -- that is, Ruby versions that areeither in normal maintenance or in security maintenance -- and for about oneyear after end of life. Older versions of Rubymay still work, but areunsupported and not recommended. Seehttps://www.ruby-lang.org/en/downloads/branches/ for more details about theRuby-Core support schedule.
