Required. Resourcename of the parent Metrics Scope. The format is:

projects/[PROJECT_ID_OR_NUMBER]

Query parameters

serviceId

string

Optional. The Service id to use for this Service. If omitted, an id will be generated instead. Must match the pattern[a-z0-9\-]+

Request body

The request body contains an instance ofService.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance ofService.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/monitoring
