There are two ways to change your language for the Looker Studio user interface. You can change your language either for all Google services or for only Looker Studio.
- To change the language on all of your web-based Google services, follow the steps on theChange your language on the web documentation page.
- To change your language in Looker Studio only, add the
?hl=parameter to your URL, replacing<language code>with asupported language code. For example, to change your language to Spanish, enter the following URL in your browser:lookerstudio.google.com?hl=es
Limits
Note the following limits of changing the interface language:
- Text in your data won't be translated.
- Labels, field names, or other text elements that you have edited in Looker Studio won't be translated.
- You cannot change the language for other Looker Studio users.
- You cannot set a language at the report or chart level.
- For Google Analytics and Google Ads data sources, if you change your language and thenrefresh your data source fields, the field names will revert to their default names in the new language.
- When you schedule a report delivery, the content of the report, such as numbers and dates, will appear in English, even if your Google Account is set to another language.
