Optimize IAM policies

Policy Intelligence is a suite of tools designed to help you managesecurity policies. These tools can help you understand resource usage,understand and improve existing security policies, and prevent policymisconfigurations.

Some Policy Intelligence tools are specifically designed to helpmanage and optimize Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies. With these tools, youcan do tasks like the following:

  • Analyze existing IAM policies to understand who has access towhat Google Cloud resources
  • Troubleshoot access issues
  • Identify and remove excess permissions from principals
  • Test changes to IAM allow policies
