Pricing overview
The following charges apply to Container Registry:
- Storage and data transfer
Container Registry charges for Cloud Storagestorage andoutbound data transfer for container images stored in theregistry.

Cloud Storage pricing changes took effect October 1, 2022 and April 1, 2023.These changes impact costs for container images stored inContainer Registry.
- Vulnerability scanning
If the Container Scanning API is enabled in either Artifact Registry orContainer Registry, vulnerability scanning is turned on and billed for bothproducts. For information about vulnerability scanning pricing, see theArtifact Analysis documentation.
If you pay in a currency other than USD, the prices listed in your currency onCloud Platform SKUsapply.
Storage
The first time youpush an imageto Container Registry, the system creates a Cloud Storage bucket to store all ofyour images. You are charged for this storage.
The defaultCloud Storage classused for most Container Registry storage buckets is calledStandard.
