You can use workspaces withinrepositories to edit the code stored in therepository. Repositories perform version control on files by using Gitto record changes and manage file versions.
On the BigQuery page, your workspaces are displayed inalphabetical order under the repository they are associated with. To viewrepositories, do the following:
In the left pane, clickExplorer:

If you don't see the left pane, clickExpand left pane to open the pane.
In theExplorer pane, clickRepositories.
Supported file types
You can create or upload the following types of files to a repository:
- SQL queries
- Python notebooks
- Data canvases
- Data preparations
- Any other types of files

Git integration
As you create and modify files in a workspace, you can perform Gitactions like committing changes and pushing changes to the repository. Formore information, seeUse version control with a file.
Locations
Each workspace uses the samelocation as the repository thatcontains it.
Quotas
Dataform quotas apply to use ofBigQuery workspaces.
Pricing
You are not charged for creating, updating, or deleting a workspace, or forstorage of the files in a workspace.
