Method: organizations.developers.create

Creates a developer. Once created, the developer can register an app and obtain an API key.

At creation time, a developer is set asactive. To change the developer status, use thedevelopers.setDeveloperStatus API.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent

string

Required. Name of the Apigee organization in which the developer is created. Use the following structure in your request:organizations/{org}.

Authorization requires the followingIAM permission on the specified resourceparent:

  • apigee.developers.create

Request body

The request body contains an instance ofDeveloper.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance ofDeveloper.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
