Overall development and upliftment of the Socio – Economic status of the people living in rural areas. Monitoring and implementation of all the rural programs related to planning and development of the Block. Creation of durable assets and infrastructure such as inter village link roads, agriculture link roads, construction of educational building, community halls, playground etc.  for the rural community. Implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes such as Border Area Delvelopment Programmes, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Prime Ministers’s Awazz Yojana, Rural Livelihood Mission etc. So as to uplift the rural populace and provide for better livelihood. Capacity building of the people by conducting skill based tranings and workshops.
