Progress of Longship

Construction of Northern Lights’ CO₂ transport and storage infrastructure and Heidelberg Materials’ capture facility in Brevik is progressing.

As of now, the Brevik CCS is 88.6 percent complete, while Northern Lights’ storage facility is98.8 percent complete.

Equinor, Shell and TotalEnergies form the transport and storage consortium of Northern Lights. They plan to develop an open access infrastructure for CO₂ transport and storage.

Hafslund Celsio plans to capture CO₂ from their waste-to-energy plant in Oslo.
