On June 22, 883, as librarian of the Apostolic See, he subscribed the papal bull "Te narrante", issued by Pope Marinus I, granting a benefice to the monastery of Soligny, in the diocese of Limoges, at the request of Bishop Gérard.
Death. 883, (no place found). Buried (no information found). He was succeeded in 883 by Formosus, future pope, who was rehabilitated as bishop of Porto.
