Shawn Austin releases his new EP Words days prior to embarking on The Country MixTape Tour

On April 5, Vancouver-based country singer-songwriterShawn Austin continues to prove he is Canada’s fastest-rising country talent with the release of his six-track EPWordswhile giving fans more of his signature feel-good hits.

The EP is available on all streaming platforms via Local Hay / Big Loud Records. The collection features writing credits from country music superstars HARDY, Tyler Hubbard, Brian Kelley, reigning ACM Songwriter of the Year Ashley Gorley, and GRAMMY-winning songwriter Hillary Lindsey. From up-tempo cruisers like “All The Money In The World” and Dallas Smith’s collaboration “Day After Day” to the introspective title track “Words,” Austin uses his distinctive, husky vocal grit to tap into the power words can hold.
