On Windows:
1) Download the file (click the "download now" on this page)
2) Right click on the downloaded zip and "Extract All" to a folder.
3) Enter the new folder and run "Stick It To The (Stick) Man.exe"
Running the game on a M1 Mac:
Download -> Right click the app -> Get info -> Tick the box 'Open with Rosetta'.
If the game deletes after download or there is a download error:
1) Download the itch.io application
2) Search for Stick It To The Stick Man on the itch.io application
3) Download the game from the itch.io application

Try this for the normal install :
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security:
Scroll down until you see a message like:
“AppName was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer.”
Click“Open Anyway”.
Confirm your choice:
When prompted again, clickOpen.
The app should now launch normally.
I've been playing this game for four years now, and I’d like to share some ideas I’ve come up with.
1. New Character
Gardener You can add as many skills as you'd like, but I’d like to suggest a few specific ones.Character Description: Guardian of FlowersPassive Skill – More Water: Drinking water (including coffee) restores more health.
2. New Skills
(1) Melee Skills:
Scissors : A melee attack where you trim branches. It can potentially cut enemies in half and has a chance to inflict Bleed damage. →Shovel : A melee attack. If it hits an enemy in the head, it stuns them for a short duration and causes Bleed damage.→Lawnmower : A melee attack where you operate a lawnmower to shred enemies into pieces—no bones left. Guarantees 100% Bleed damage. User becomes invincible while using it.
(2) Ranged Skills :
Spit : A ranged attack where you spit in the enemy’s face, causing disgust. They’ll stop to wipe it off with their hands, resulting in a brief pause. →Watering Can : A ranged attack that splashes water, leaving wet footprints. Enemies who step on them will slip and fall. After getting up, their movements become slower and heavier due to being wet. However, if the user (the one who used the Watering Can) steps on the wet trail, they will also slip. → Artificial Rain : A ranged attack that summons dark clouds above the enemy. The clouds follow them and rain down. Being hit by the rain deals damage and causes the enemy to shiver from the cold for a while. If the rain hits the ground, it has the same effect as the Watering Can. There’s also a chance it will create small puddles on the ground, which can be consumed to restore health. This skill automatically ends after a few seconds.
3.New Passive Skill:
Storm : When using the Artificial Rain skill, there’s a chance the dark clouds will produce thunder. If lightning strikes the enemy, it paralyzes them and deals additional damage. Additionally, the raindrops become larger and more impactful.
I'd like to report a bug on multiplayer. We're having an issue that when one of the players die before defeating a floor, the elevator wont trigger after defeating all the enemies. We can travel up the floors by smashing through the windows but the other player won't revive. Its happened a couple of times now, and it only happens if one of the players die.

will this new demo be only on steam? you techinally have the download of the steam type also on itch. but for the newest one (you released recently) will it also have a download here? i would really be eager to know as it would save me all terribleness due to the issue of the black screen. (the user named mat toons maker already addressed it . you saw it. yes im having the same exact issue and it sucks :( )

In the meantime, try verifying the game files in Steam and make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. This often clears up black screen issues.
hello good sir . if your a dev of the game i would like to say I LOVE IT . the sad news is im having the exact same issue matt is having. and ive been doing what you said. well mostly that clearing of the game files ( i havent tried the graphic drivers since i think they are good). and this is all happening when i have a windows 11 pc.. to make sure i wasnt being dumb or something i downloaded a random game on steam. and sure enough it opened like no bodies business. ive never had this issue when i used to have stick it to the stickman on steam. when i had my last pc... i dont know what is happening but i need help
youve seen my previous review, however heres the one thing i mainly dislike is that whenever you earn enough exp to basically level up, why does the door 5 floors above open instead of the one right next to me? it forces one to run through all the enemies and takes lots of damage to not waste 3 levels worth of exp trying to get to one level up. just make it so that if i level up, the door right next to me opens up, not the one 5 floors above behind 100 enemies
