Corypheae és unatribu depalmeres[1][2] de lasubfamíliaCoryphoideae.[3] En classificacions anteriors, la tribu Corypheae incloïa quatresubtribus: Coryphinae, Livistoninae, Thrinacinae i Sabalinae,[4] peròestudis filogenètics recents han fet que els gèneres d'aquestes subtribus es transfereixin a altres tribus (Chuniophoeniceae, Trachycarpeae, Cryosophileae iSabaleae).[5][6] Ara la tribu Corypheae es limita al gènereCorypha.
