Very excited to share the latest episode of theGameRant Roadshow:https://lnkd.in/eUaw8CunThis month I am diving deep into New Yorks biggest gaming venueOS NYC. Part event space, part Internet cafe, it’s become the home to multiple gaming communities including my own - but there was still so much I didn’t know!A special thanks toSam Asfahani andDaequan Langhorn for sitting down with me and answering my barrage of questions! This was a great pleasure to film, edit and put together!

Another exclusive#interview from me here, after I went hands-on with No Rest for the Wicked's devs to check out its new co-op "Together" update and get a feel for what the#game offers now.Playing alongsideMoon Studios'Thomas Mahler andKevin Jordan, I not only had a blast playing the#ARPG, but I got to pick their brains about its design, its new co-op mechanics, and the team's philosophy. After asking Mahler what he'd consider to be a fundamental misunderstanding players and critics might have about#NoRestForTheWicked, he began to discuss some common comparisons that are drawn between it and#Diablo.I'll admit I made the same mistake when I first started playing the game, only to realize it wasn't at all like Diablo. Once I shifted my perspective, I started to really appreciate and enjoy No Rest for the Wicked. And now I can't wait to get even deeper into it.Ultimately, that's all because, while the isometric perspective of#Wicked, as the devs call it, might make it look likeBlizzard Entertainment's Diablo franchise, it plays like a#Soulslike similar to#games like#EldenRing and#DarkSouls. In other words, treat it with respect, and you'll do just fine.If you want to read more about this part of my interview with Mahler and Jordan, check out my coverage of it onGame Rant!

#KingdomComeDeliverance2 is one of my all-time favorite#games from one of my all-time favorite franchises, so I was stoked to get to chat with design director Viktor Bocan recently. In my opinion,#KCD2 also has one of the best stealth systems in#gaming, not just because of how rewarding it can be, but because of how much thought went into its mechanics."The people there are not stupid," Bocan said. "[They] are real people who have some brains and understand the world around them."This is why I love the game's stealth system so much. In their efforts to create this authentic world,Warhorse Studios made the people in it not only react to the player but also think like real individuals with brains. In fact, the people in the#game are so smart that some of KCD2's testers thought the stealth system was bugged, simply because it felt too real.If you want to read more about how the game's stealth mechanics work, check out the interview I recently did with Bocan onGame Rant!

Yet another special#gaming piece from me, this time about none other than#TheLegendOfZelda. It's hard to find words that could adequately describe my love for#Zelda. It's a franchise that has been in my life for over 30 years now, beginning with the first#game on the#NES and continuing all the way into the age of#BreathOfTheWild,#TearsOfTheKingdom, and, more recently,#EchoesOfWisdom and#HyruleWarriorsAgeOfImprisonment. From playing the first#LegendOfZelda on the original#Nintendo with my brother to playing#BotW and#TotK on the#NintendoSwitch with my wife, the Zelda franchise is one that has not only created unique#videogame memories for me, but also one that has brought me and loved ones together as we experience its incredible universe alongside one another. In the age of "never preorder," Zelda is one that I won't hesitate to preorder, even blindly. I don't care what early impressions or reviews say about a#NewZeldaGame, I just have to play it.If you feel the same way about this amazing franchise, consider reading this piece I did onGame Rant when you have the time, and tell me how you feel about Zelda!
