AViscount (Japanese:ヴァイカウントViscount) is a type ofPokémon Trainer that debuted inGeneration VI. This Trainer class is a title of nobility, granted in theBattle Chateau, and Trainers with this class only appear there. Viscount is the second lowest rank of nobility for males, ranking aboveBaron and belowEarl. Its counterpart for females isViscountess.

The maleplayer character may earn the title of Viscount by winning enoughbattles in the Battle Chateau. All opponent Viscounts use parties of one Pokémon at level 20 (if noWrit of Challenge is active).
