Unown Mode with all 26 Unown forms listed

TheUnown Mode (Japanese:アンノーン ずかんillustratedUnknown encyclopedia), also known asUnowndex (inPokémon Stadium 2) andUnown Dex,[1] is aPokédex feature in theGeneration IIcore series games andPokémon Stadium 2. It is designed to display all 26 different types ofUnown.

Unown Mode is installed by aRuins of Alph scientist after the player has caught at least three different Unown. Unlike other Pokédex modes, Unown Mode does not list the Unown in any predefined order, but in the order in which they arecaught. Filling all 26 slots of Unown Mode enables the ability to generate andprint Alph Ruins Stamps from the printer in the Ruins of Alph Research Center.

InPokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Unown Mode is replaced by aKey Item called theUnown Report. InPokémon Legends: Arceus, theHisui Pokédex has a section known as theUnown Research Notes, which functions somewhat differently from the Unown Mode.
