Training with Legends (Japanese:特訓！レジェンドチームSpecial Training! Legend Team) was asolo event inPokémon Masters EX. It was focused on thesync pairsSygna Suit Blue & Blastoise,Sygna Suit Leaf & Venusaur, andSygna Suit Red & Charizard.
The "Sygna Suit Red Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Red & Charizard from the beginning of the event to September 28, 2020; the "Sygna Suit Leaf Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Leaf & Venusaur from the beginning of the event to September 28, 2020; and the "Sygna Suit Blue Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Blue & Blastoise from the beginning of the event to October 30, 2020*.
Battles rewarded players with Event Vouchers C, which could be redeemed in theshop. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.
This event featured the Full-Force Battle, where players were challenged to defeat a large group of strong opponents. Similar to theLegendary Arena, players could use multiple teams with a limited number of total sync pairs, with the opponents' health carrying over between rounds and with previously used pairs unable to be used again until the challenge is reset.Medals could be earned by completing specific missions.
Plot
At thePokémon Center,Red,Blue, andLeaf greet theplayer. Blue notes that the player seems a lot more determined than they were when they first met. He tells them that he expects the next generation ofTrainers onPasio to grow to become great opponents. Leaf invites the player to join them as they train with other powerfulsync pairs on Pasio. Red and Blue are both fond of her idea, with Blue telling the player that if they worked together, they would be an unstoppable team.
