ATower Tycoon (Japanese:タワータイクーンTower Tycoon) is aPokémon Trainer who presides over their region'sBattle Tower. The Tower Tycoon will battle thechallenger of the Tower at set intervals.Anabel andPalmer are the only known Tower Tycoons.
In the English version ofPokémon Emerald, the class is calledSalon Maiden, used by Anabel.

Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl
Palmer debuted in a cameo at the beginning ofArceus and the Jewel of Life, where he battledCynthia. He made his debut inHistorical Mystery Tour!, where he met up with his sonBarry. InChallenging a Towering Figure!, he battled Ash at theTwinleaf Festival and won.
Trivia
- Though the word "tycoon" is actually derived from the Japanese word大君taikun (a title for theshogun), it is converted intokatakana as an English term to match the names of the other Frontier Brains' Trainer classes, rather than using thehiraganaたいくん or its respective katakanaタイクン (without the lengtheningchōonpu).
