Generation IV

Thunder Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance ofparalyzing the opponent. It also has an independent 10% chance of causing the target toflinch, if the user attacks before the target.

Generation V onwards

Thunder Fang can also be used as part of aContest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining an extra three appeal points if the moveCharge was used in the prior turn.

Thunder Fang is no longer affected byKing's Rock.
