Tearful Look (Japanese:なみだめTeary Eyes) is a non-damagingNormal-typemove introduced inGeneration VII.

Effect

Tearful Look lowers the target'sAttack andSpecial Attack stats by one stage each. It bypassesaccuracy checks to always hit, unless the opponent is in thesemi-invulnerable turn of a move such asDig orFly. Tearful Look will hit the target even if it has usedProtect,Detect,Spiky Shield, orBaneful Bunker, but will be blocked byCrafty Shield.

If powered up by aNormalium Z into Z-Tearful Look, the user'sDefense stat rises by one stage.
