Release information

This card was included in theTwilight Masquerade expansion with artwork bySanosuke Sakuma, first released in the JapaneseTransformation Mask expansion. Three Cosmos Holofoil versions of this card with different stamps in the bottom right corner of the artwork were given away with eligiblePokémon Trading Card Game purchases at participating retailers in various countries starting May 24, 2024. Variants featuring a redGameStop logo were available in-store or online from GameStop inthe United States andCanada with a $15 minimum purchase. Variants featuring anEB Games logo were distributed inAustralia andNew Zealand with purchases worth at least a $15 at EB Games stores or through their online shop.[1] Variants featuring the Twilight Masquerade logo were also distributed in several other countries overseen byThe Pokémon Company International.

A Cosmos Holofoil version featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork became available inTrick or Trade 2024 BOOster Bundles from August 30, 2024. Another Cosmos Holofoil version, this time with no additional graphics, was made available in two products from November 15, 2024: theOgerpon ex Premium Collection and theFall 2024 Collector Chest.

AFull ArtSVP Black Star Promotional print with artwork bykodama was made available in theTwilight Masquerade Elite Trainer Box from May 24, 2024. A version with thePokémon Center logo above the Retreat Cost was also available in theTwilight Masquerade Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box from the same day. In Japan, this Full Art print was included as aSV-P Promotional card alongside an unnumberedJumbo card variant in theOgerpon Special Jumbo Card Set, which was released on May 17, 2024. InIndonesia, this print was released as part of the "Ogerpon Face Challenge" social media campaign held in collaboration with girl groupJKT48. Participants of the campaign were required to follow the Explore Pokémon IndonesiaTikTok account, upload a video on the platform using special Ogerpon-themed filters, and then correctly answer a quiz about Ogerpon. Once verified by staff, people could then receive a copy of the card at distribution counters present at various locations:

  • Pokémon TCG Academia at Taman Anggrek Mall, Jakarta between and July 3 and 14, 2024[2]
  • Pikachu's Indonesia Journey at Pakuwon Mall Jogja between August 15 and 25, 2024
  • Distributions were also planned for the cities of Surabaya and Depok[3]

In Japan, the Twilight Masquerade print of this card is reprinted in theStart Deck 100 Battle Collection.
