Does Happiny get Seismic Toss as an Egg Move?

Other sources state that Happiny doesn't get Seismic Toss, only Chansey does. Can anyone double check this?Trainer Yusuf (talk)18:58, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I checked, and Happiny does not get Seismic Toss as an Egg move. --SnorlaxMonster20:14, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Generation III animation

Seismic Toss' animation changes depending on the level of the user in Gen III, the same way asReturn's animation changes depending on how high the user's Friendship is. Try comparing a Lv 5 Seismic Toss with a Lv 20 one and a Lv 100 one. The 'hitting' part of the move is longer the higher the user's level is.hfc2X02:49, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Seismic toss miss?

I was watchingthis video. At around 2:45, Blissey misses her Seismic Toss. The Jirachi had only used Ancient Power beforehand and did not have any evasion boosts. How

Easiest option is to assume Jirachi was holding Bright Powder. Also, even if this is not the case here, Showdown isn't an official game, so it can have different mechanics from the original games.Itan (talk)15:40, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Am I allowed to talk about Showdown however?Iluvchess (talk)15:46, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Since Showdown can't be considered a scource of information such as mechanics and descriptions, you shouldn't discuss differencies between Bulbapedia, which documents games from Game Freak, and Showdown on the talk pages, as it would be useless. Mentioning Showdown is allowed, in fact, we have an article about it. It is just pointless if conversation isn't about simulator itself. For the discussions not related to the content of the pages you better visit Bulbagarden Forums.Itan (talk)16:00, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Showdown can have mistaken mechanics, so anything from there is not worth our attention, it's better to look for the same issue in the games first. And to answer your question, set of this Jirachi is in the description of the video you've provided, it does hold BrightPowder.--RocketGrunt16:34, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
