Surging Sparks makes up the eighth expansion of cards for the Scarlet & Violet Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This expansion continues to introduce StellarTeraPokémon ex into the game, a concept first introduced in the previousStellar Crown expansion. A running theme in the set is theTerarium, the primary setting ofThe Indigo Disk, the second part ofThe Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for thePokémon Scarlet and Violet video games.

Surging Sparks includes cards from the JapaneseSuper Electric Breaker andParadise Dragona expansions, as well as theStellar Tera Type Starter Sets and certainSV-P Promotional cards. Surging Sparks contains eightACE SPEC cards, nine Stellar Tera Pokémon ex and nine Pokémon ex, 23illustration rare Pokémon, 11special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards, and sixhyper rare gold etched cards.

Surging Sparks is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
