Super Luck (Japanese:きょううんGood Luck) is anAbility introduced inGeneration IV. InGeneration IX, it is thesignature Ability ofMurkrow andHonchkrow.

Effect

In battle

Super Luck increases thecritical hit ratio by 1 stage.

Outside of battle

Generation IV

InPokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver only, if a Pokémon with Super Luckbreaks a rock and finds an item, the game will instead pick the item below it in the game's list, unless it was the 5% item (this effectively means it will never find the most common item).

Generation VIII

If a Pokémon with this Ability leads theparty (even iffainted), the chances of findinga wild Pokémon holding an item increase from 50%/5% to 60%/20%. This effect is shared withCompound Eyes.

Generation IX

InPokémon Scarlet and Violet, Super Luck has no effect on the items held by wild Pokémon.
