AStrib Berry (Japanese:エドマのみEdoma Fruit) is a type ofBerry exclusive to theGeneration III games. It can only be acquired by scanning in the correspondinge-Reader card inPokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Effect

Strib Berries cannot be used directly and only have a use as an ingredient forPokéblocks.

A Strib Berry cannot be stolen byThief orCovet, or exchanged byTrick.

The player will not be permitted to enter the Pokémon Cable Club Trade Center if a Pokémon in their party is holding this Berry. A Pokémon holding this Berry cannot be traded toPokémon Colosseum orPokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, nor can it be stored in the Western versions ofPokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire.

If held by a Pokémon transferred throughPal Park to theGeneration IV games, it will become anEnigma Berry.
