Stamina (Japanese:じきゅうりょくStamina) is anAbility introduced inGeneration VII. Prior toGeneration IX, it was thesignature Ability ofMudbray andMudsdale.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with Stamina is hit by an attack, itsDefense rises by one stage.

If a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by amultistrike move (such asFury Swipes), each hit activates this Ability.

Outside of battle

Stamina has no effect outside of battle.
