Aspecial co-op event (Japanese:特別マルチイベント) is a type of limited-time event inPokémon Masters EX. As the name implies, these events exclusively feature co-op battles, and players are required to cooperate with other players to complete them—they cannot use the "Create Your Own Team" option to challenge these battles. To further encourage cooperation,Gymmissions are also available during these events, rewarding all players in the Gym for collecting certain amounts of event items or completing the event battles a certain number of times.
