Special Day with the Guys (Japanese:彼らと過ごす素敵な日Special Day with the Guys) was asolo event inPokémon Masters EX. It was focused on malesync pairs.

The "Triple Feature Charming Poké Fair Scout" let players recruit sync pairs formed with male Trainers for the duration of the event. Players had an increased chance of recruiting Raihan (Anniversary 2022) & Flygon, Red & Snorlax, and Lucas & Dialga in this scout.

During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers B from battles that could be redeemed in theshop. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished. Unlike most solo events, this event did not feature any sync pair bonuses.

While not named as such, this event featured a battle akin to previous Full-Force Battles, where players were challenged to defeat a large group of strong opponents. Similar to theLegendary Arena, players could use multiple teams with a limited number of total sync pairs, with the opponents' health carrying over between rounds and with previously used pairs unable to be used again until the challenge is reset.

Plot

Raihan decides that he wants to take a selfie with the living legend,Red. He andGordie go to ask theplayer, who is hanging out withHau andHugh, for help. Since Red is notoriously reclusive, the player comes up with the idea to stage battles so exciting that Red will be drawn out to join them. They recruitLucas,Professor Sycamore,Wally, andSilver to help them out as well, and the whole group goes to the arena to start battling. After a few rounds of battles, Red finally appears and silently challenges them to a battle.

After battling Red, Raihan asks him to stay a minute and take a selfie with them. Silver, who only agreed to join because he wanted to battle Red, tries to leave before the photo is taken, but Hau and Hugh stop him. Raihan then takes a nice selfie of the nine guys and the player.
