Sofu
Sofu (Japanese:ソフウSofū) is a minor recurring character inPokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, who first appeared inRun, Heroes, Run!. He is the late grandfather ofHapu and a formerisland kahuna ofPoni Island.

Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon
Sofu debuted inRun, Heroes, Run!, whereTapu Fini summoned his spirit from the dead to oversee atrial it had set up forKiawe. After the trial was over, he observed Kiawe andAsh alongside the ghost ofKiawe's grandfather, before the both of them faded away.
He appeared again inMemories in the Mist!, where he reunited with his granddaughter in theRuins of Hope. There, he informed her that Tapu Fini had accepted her as the new Poni Island Kahuna before Tapu Fini cleared the mist and faded away again.
