The Six Heroes

TheSix Heroes (Japanese:六英雄(ろくえいゆう)Six Heroes) are agroup of Pokémon that once belonged to the Ancient Adventurer,Lucius. Each of them was caught within anAncient Poké Ball by Lucius, which were all scattered across the variousregions of thePokémon world after they were separated from theirTrainer 100 years ago. Gathering the Six Heroes was the main goal of both theRising Volt Tacklers and theExplorers so they could reach the sealedLaquium inLaqua for their different reasons.

Each of them had some ofPagogo'senergy passed to them so they could help it seal Laquium away in a giant energy barrier to protect the world from it, which greatly weakened Pagogo in the process. As ofBeyond the Shining Rainbow, all heroes were gathered by the Rising Volt Tacklers and were put underLiko andRoy's care. As a result, Pagogo's power was fully restored by them, which allowed it to unseal the Laquium.

InWhere the Adventure Leads, the Six Heroes were released from their Ancient Poké Balls when Lucius passed away, but unfortunately, they went berserk due toSpinel'sLaquium sphere, except for theBlack Rayquaza, who wasn't affected by the mist. As a result, they separated from Liko and Roy. In the aftermath, the heroes, except Rayquaza, were captured by the Explorers and contained in restraining barriers.

InThe Six Heroes Unleashed!, the Explorers used the five captive Heroes in a trap for the Rising Volt Tacklers, using the Super Strong Spheres to push them to their limit.

InHZ125, the Six Heroes were rescued from the Explorers by the younger Rising Volt Tacklers and Amethio. They were then released back into the wild where they would be safe from the Explorers, but promisedZygarde to lend them their strength when the time was right.
