Shift Gear (Japanese:ギアチェンジGear Change) is a non-damagingSteel-typemove introduced inGeneration V. Prior toGeneration VII, it was one of thesignature moves ofKlink'sevolutionary line.
Effect
Shift Gear increases the user'sSpeed by two stages and the user'sAttack by one stage.
Shift Gear can also be used as part of aContest Spectacular combination, causingGear Grind to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.
If powered up by aSteelium Z into Z-Shift Gear, all of the user's lowered stats are reset.
