Wonder Orbs (Japanese:ふしぎだまWonder Orb) are magical items in thePokémon Mystery Dungeon series that have a variety of effects within dungeons. However, they cannot be used in boss battles or against other rescue teams, and certain ones cannot be used againstKecleon if the player has robbed aKecleon Shop (such as Escape Orbs and Trawl Orbs).

InPokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, Wonder Orbs are worth 300Poké and sold for 150 Poké, unless otherwise notified. InPokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness andSky, Wonder Orbs are worth 150 Poké and sold for 30 Poké, unless otherwise notified.

Starting inPokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, most Wonder Orbs can be used in boss battles, though items that cause negative status effects can have limited effectiveness, as these enemies can have the PreventionTeam Skill, and Legendary Pokemon fought from theChallenge Board are immune. InPokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, bosses can recover quickly from negative status effects or ignore them altogether.

In Explorers of Time and Darkness, certain orbs are exclusive to either game (e.g. Foe-Hold Orb exclusive to Time, Foe-Fear Orb exclusive to Darkness) but can be obtained in the other game through Wonder Mail.

In Red and Blue Rescue Team, Super Mystery Dungeon, andRescue Team DX, Wonder Orbs that target all allies or enemies will target both when used by aconfused Pokémon.

Availability

The available Wonder Orbs vary depending on the game. Some of these Orbs have been replaced byWands starting in Super Mystery Dungeon.
