TheSandsear Cave (Japanese:熱砂空洞Hot Sand Hollow) is a type of hideaway seen in theGrand Underground. It can only be accessed after theplayer obtains theExplorer Kit inEterna City from theUnderground Man, and features Pokémon thatroam the cave freely, instead of being found intall grass.

Geography

Sandsear Caves are arid, sand and rock filled caverns, containing small lakes of lava. Some rocks are taller than theplayer, and must be navigated around, as well as the various pools of lava.
