Rie Kugimiya (Japanese:釘宮理恵Kugimiya Rie) is a Japanese voice actress forPokémon the Series.

Biography

Kugimiya was born on May 30, 1979 inOsaka,Japan and became a voice actress and singer as an adult. She began her work duringPokémon the Series: Gold and Silver, where she mostly voicedcharacters of the day. However, she gained two major roles during itsmovies:Celebi in thethirteenth movie and ConfinedHoopa in theeighteenth movie, respectively. Later, duringPokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, Kugimiya's major role wasIda. Kugimiya is currently affiliated with the talent groupI'm Enterprise and was nominated as Best Leading Actress during the1st Seiyu Awards.
