ARental Pass (Japanese:レンタルパスRental Pass) is a type ofBattle Pass inPokémon Battle Revolution. These Passes come with predeterminedrental Pokémon, usually ones in their middle evolutionary stage. They can be used in all battles exceptLittle Battles at theSunny Park Colosseum, and are the only ones available in Rental Battles and Trade Battles at the Gateway Colosseum.

There are a total of six Rental Passes. The player chooses one of two Rental Passes to unlock at the start of the game: Rental Pass Red or Rental Pass Blue. The one not chosen and the other four Rental Passes can be unlocked as the game progresses by borrowing the Pass and winning with it in the Rental Battle mode at theGateway Colosseum. Rental Pass Purple and Rental Pass Green are both available to borrow after the first clear of theWaterfall Colosseum, and Rental Pass Gray and Rental Pass Yellow are both available to borrow after theSunny Park Colosseum.

All rental Pokémon arelevel 50 and can beShiny. Once players unlock Trade Battles, the Pokémon on the Pass can be traded with the opponent's Pokémon after each round, allowing the Pass's original party to be changed. After the Trade Battle is cleared, the modified Rental Pass remains with its altered party. Pokémon can be swapped between Rental Passes, but cannot be removed or swapped with ones from Storage.

Each Rental Pass has a uniquedesign and uses one of the sixcharacter styles: Young Girl for Rental Pass Red, Young Boy for Rental Pass Blue, Cool Boy for Rental Pass Purple, Cool Girl for Rental Pass Green, Muscle Man for Rental Pass Gray, and Little Girl for Rental Pass Yellow. Although Rental Passes can be edited once unlocked, the Pass design and character style cannot be changed.

In the Japanese versions, all six Rental Pass characters havelight skin. In the Western localizations, the Young Girl and Muscle Man haveolive skin, while the Cool Boy hasdark skin. Because the character style cannot be changed for Rental Passes, their skin tone cannot be changed in the Western versions.
