Reason: History & Role in Pokémon Masters EX

History

Rei has experienced similar events to hiscore series counterpart as theplayer character. Rei was originally a Trainer in the world he came from before he was sent back in time toHisui byArceus and joined theGalaxy Team Survey Corps. FromProfessor Laventon, he received aRowlet, which he evolved into Hisuian Decidueye.[2] He was taught about the methods of the Survey Corps byAkari[3], and would go on to catch many Pokémon to fill out thePokédex. On his journey, he met the merchantVolo and ultimately put a stop to his scheme to meet and subjugate Arceus and remake the world.
