Pop Roxie (Japanese:ホミカパパHomika's Papa) is a character appearing inPokémon Black 2 and White 2 and thePokémon Adventures manga.

In the core series games

Pop Roxie is a sailor who runs a ferry betweenVirbank City andCastelia City. He is also the father of theVirbank GymLeaderRoxie. He is first seen arguing with his daughter in front of Virbank'sPokémon Center over his movie career, insisting that since Roxie is both a Gym Leader and a musician, he can be both a sailor and a movie star.

While he is auditioning atPokéstar Studios, the gate to the studios cannot be entered until theplayer obtains theToxic Badge. Upon entering Pokéstar Studios, the player watches Pop Roxie's first movie,Midlife Man of Justice vs. Brycen-Man of theBrycen-Man Series. As Riolu-Man, he ends up acting scared and being defeated. He later claims that one day, he will act once more. He then reopens his ferrying service.

Pop Roxie debuts inChoir Tournament. Roxie has her father take the students of theAspertia CityTrainers' School to Castelia City as a reward for winning theAutumn Choir Tournament. Roxie later reveals that her father once wanted to be a movie star and planned on giving up his job as a ship captain to do so. When Pop Roxie sawBlake andWhitley's performance at Pokéstar Studios, he realized that they were better than him and gave up.
