Volume 55 is the 55th volume of thePokémon Adventures manga. It is both the fourth and final volume in theBlack 2 & White 2 arc and the first of theX & Y arc. It is authored byHidenori Kusaka and illustrated bySatoshi Yamamoto.
In bothVIZ Media’s English andPanini Comics’ German translations, this volume is published as volume four of a separately numbered series, "Pokémon Adventures: Black 2 & White 2", which leave out the first chapters of theX & Y arc.

The cover art for this volume was changed from the original in bothVIZ Media’s English andPanini Comics’ German translations. Due to the removal of theX & Y arc's chapters from these releases of this volume, the original cover art design which was based on the latter arc was instead replaced with one that represents theBlack 2 & White 2 arc.
