Poison Tail (Japanese:ポイズンテールPoison Tail) is a damage-dealingPoison-typemove introduced inGeneration III. Prior toGeneration V, it was thesignature move ofSeviper, but other Pokémon could still inherit it viabreeding. It isTM026 inPokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Effect

Poison Tail deals damage and has anincreased critical hit ratio. It has a 10% chance ofpoisoning the target.

Poison Tail can also be used as part of aContest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining extra three appeal points if the moveFocus Energy was used in the prior turn.
