Pikala (Japanese:ピカーラPikala) is a recurring character who first appeared inA Plethora of Pikachu!. She is aPokémon Trainer who lives inPikachu Valley with all of herPikachu.
History
Pikala debuted inA Plethora of Pikachu!, where she metAsh,Kiawe, andMimo when they visitedPikachu Valley. To give her visitors the full experience, she gave them each Pikachu-themed ears and tails to wear as well as giving them their own "Pika-speak" names,Pikash (Japanese:サトピSatopi),Pikawe (Japanese:カピKapi), andPikamo (Japanese:ホピHopi), respectively. Later, whenTeam Rocket attempted to steal all of the Pikachu, Pikala, with the help of herShiny Pikachu,nicknamed the Boss, sent the trio blasting off usingCatastropika.
She reappeared during a flashback inBeauty is Only Crystal Deep!, where she had herPikanium Z stolen by aPheromosa.
InBattle Royal 151!, Pikala entered theManalo Conference with another one of her Pikachu, namedBolt (Japanese:ボルトBolt). However, it was defeated byJessie's Mimikyu during theBattle Royal preliminary round, thus eliminating Pikala from the tournament.
Character
Pikala is an eccentric fan ofPikachu. She even dresses up in a Pikachu outfit and puts "Pika" into all of her sentences, referring to this manner of speech as "Pika-speak". She also has the ability to know whichregion a Pikachu comes from by touching their fur.

All of thePikachu living in Pikachu Valley belong to Pikala. Each individual Pikachu has their own nickname, such asRed Cheeks (Japanese:アカホッペAkahoppe) andPretender (Japanese:カッコKakko).
When the Pikachu first encounteredAsh's Pikachu, they were initially cautious of him, as he was fromKanto. However, they soon warmed up to him and shared their electricity with him. They later got caught byTeam Rocket, but were saved by the Boss'sCatastropika.
None of the Pikachu's moves are known.

ThisPikachu, known asCurly (Japanese:クリンKurin), is one of Pikala's Pokémon. According to Pikala, Curly received hernickname due to her curly bangs. In Japanese, it is instead because her hair resembles chestnuts.
Curly was the first of Pikala's Pikachu to approachAsh's Pikachu and act friendly with him, much to the Boss's dismay. She and the other Pikachu were later caught byTeam Rocket, but were saved by the Boss'sCatastropika.
None of Curly's moves are known.

This Pikachu, known as theBoss (Japanese:バンチョーBanchō), is one of Pikala's Pokémon. He is highly regarded amongst the other Pikachu in Pikachu Valley and appears to be Pikala's main battling partner. He is aShiny Pokémon and slightly taller than others of his kind.
InA Plethora of Pikachu!, upon seeing Curly act friendly withAsh's Pikachu, the Boss became jealous and fired bolts of electricity at Pikachu. The two Pikachu then engaged in a battle, which the Boss lost, earning Pikachu his respect. Afterwards, the valley was attacked byTeam Rocket, who caught all other Pikachu. However, the Boss was able to sent the trio blasting off using hisZ-Move,Catastropika.
He reappeared in a flashback inBeauty is Only Crystal Deep! as aPheromosa stole Pikala'sPikanium Z.
The Boss's known moves areThunderbolt andVolt Tackle.
The Boss can also perform theZ-MoveCatastropika.

ThisPikachu, known asBolt (Japanese:ボルトBolt), is one of Pikala's Pokémon. He first appeared inBattle Royal 151!, where he was used in theManalo Conference. He interrupted a battle between aTrainer'sMagikarp and another Trainer'sPyukumuku, attacking Magikarp and knocking it out. Soon after, Bolt was defeated with a singleShadow Ball fromJessie's Mimikyu.
Bolt's only known move isElectro Ball.
